La’ Mar is a new artist aspiring to break into the thriving Latin music scene. Our audience are young professionals who have an appreciation for art and elegant sound design. La’ Mar brings a new contemporary sound infused with sophisticated layers of Indie Rock, African Rhythms, and synth driven melodies. Our goals is to capture our target audience with a vinyl cover that represents the essence of a new modern sound.
Our approach for this project was to create a timeless image that could embody the artists music and vision. To represent the mystical energy found in African rhythms, and at the same time, lean towards the modern - We decided to craft the image of an indigenous man. Which represents the indigenous quality of African rhythms. The image was created in a simple gesture art style, to represent a student of life ideology. As the artist La’ Mar is embarking on a new journey. To finalize it, we applied a fun color palette to reach a modern look.
